The neighboring fishing town of Puerto Morelos offers distractions, as well as the more cosmopolitan Playa del Carmen. the hotel offers a modest 94 guest rooms, in a complex surrounded by tropical palms and lush tropical foliage. The Bahia Maya offers 300 meters of incredible white sand beach on peaceful turquoise waters. This beachfront resort is situated in the Bahia Petempich, a marine park and nature preserve, between Cancun and Playa del Carmen.
